Exclamation RIP DJR Performance Taree & Dumb Complaining Neighbours

A business in Taree called DJR Performance is being forced to close down by the council because of a complaint of too much noise from the dyno. even though the location is in an industrial area and next to a train line. Apparently the dyno is too loud.

But a good business closed because of 1 complaint but roads never get fixed from many complaints.

Some people have ruined a perfectly good business that is my best mates cousins work.

Screw Taree council for shutting down DJR Performance | Facebook

    Now me just venting.......

It just Sh*ts me people like my next door neighbour on my left think my vz with factory exhaust except the rear muffler replaced with straight pipe is too loud and threatened my mum with the police (what are they going to do defect a perfectly legal car) yet my other neighbour says my car is heaps quiet. Oh and my AE92 corolla is apparently too noisy aswell c'mon a corolla WTF. They dont complains about my next door neighbour on the right his AU XR8 with full exhaust and thats alot louder than my VZ Exec. So they have just annoyed me and a couple of other neighbours because of complaining about the quiet car. If they came to my mum politely and said we recon the vz is a little loud is it possible you could drive really slow past our house at night i would have said im sorry i will try my best but go to my mum and be so rude. They can go jump in a river for all i care.

Sorry all, I needed to vent.

Sucks about the DRJ business shutting down.

But in regards to your neighbours complaining about your car by not your other neighbours xr8. Maybe that's go to do with how the cars are driven around the area?

Did the council actually shut down the company? Why not just move the workshop?

No Council will shut down a business based on one complaint. There is much more to this story I bet.

No, it didn't. It told them that to continue the dyno operations, they would have to have it housed in a soundproof room; cost of building is the only outlay it would take to make it happen. Cheaper than moving the workshop.

Glad to hear it as I had a dog next door once that barked continually (if you search you might find the thread on here) to the point I was sleep depraved. The problem with dogs that become a nuisance with their barking is the owners fail to deal with it or acknowledge it. Obviously your dog was bored or distressed and you as an owner neglected to deal with it, instead you attempt to play the victim because the Council was forced to take action following many complaints. No one here will believe Councils take such drastic action as shutting down businesses and removing dogs based on one complaint.

There are 3 sides to every story. Yours, theirs and what really happened.
