Any hardcore/metalcore music fans out there or guitarists?

Just wondering : P

I love my commdore and everything about cars but when I'm not doing anything with the cars, I play guitar :P
I've been playing for about 6-7 years and currently in a Hardcore/screamo band, We've just got endorsed by redbull and have heaps of gigs and shit coming up in the summer holidays, and even a aussie tour next year!

So what do you guys play and what gear do you have?

So far i have a Epiphone Les Paul Custom with EMG pick ups, Custom Fender Tele with a EMG humbucker, Schecter Demon, a Squier strat with a humbucker and a Cort steel string acoustic : )
I also have a Peavy JSX Head with a Uk made Laney TT series cab 4x12 with celestion V30s : )

Dont mind some BFMV, All that Remains, As I Lay Dying, Slipknot etc. Panzerchrist, little bit of Parkway, obviously there's heaps more though.

Yeah i use to be into Slipknot a while ago, more into Parkway and stuff theses days, I saw them the other weeek. So awesome!

Yeaah bmth's new album is a lot different, its like trying to go more mainstream hardcore rather than the straight up metalcore it use to be. I do like it, Just not the fact bmth changed.

closest i get to harcore/meatalcore (i'm not a big fan of them, more old school thrash) would be death metal, you know like venom or mayhem.

i mainly like thrash and death, and melodic death/gothenburg is the absolute SHIT
thrash: metallica (old), slayer, exodus, kreator, death angel, megadeth, old anthrax. theyre the best thrash bands out IMO
melo death/gothenburg: arch enemy (old), kalmah, dark tranquility, in flames (old), soilwork, at the gates
Death: suffocation, nile, cannibal corpse (older), morbid angel, hate eternal, psycroptic, and local brissie band getting attention is disentomb

check them bands out for awesome technical talented musicianship.

and people say metal is just screaming and noise. I love the ignorance of people

The Amity Affliction

I have a epiphone gothic explorer with EMG pick ups and a randall tube mosfet amp, Im not great at guitar but good enough to pump a few riffs out to shake the windows when i feel the urge. Im not into full hardcore stuff mainly Metallica, used to listen to Disturbed alot and Korn. But Ill listen to anything as long as its look lol. Did i mention Im going to all the Metallica concerts in Melbounre. Saw a cool band called the Sword at the September shows anyone see them what did you think.??
