how to make Smirnoff Double Black?

Hi,

Well I'm just trying to make smirnoff double blacks.
Is there more too it than sprite & vodka?
If what kind of Sprite? (ie. Kirks Lemonade, 7Up, Sprite, etc.)
What kind of vodka? a particular brand? flavoured vodka (citrus) or neutral?

Don't feel like spending $20 for a 4-pack from the bottleo if it's simple. Also I can add however much vodka.

go buy an actual decide vodka like Zytnia, it's a polish vodka same price as smirnoff but x100 better.
and double black is just lemonade prob with extra sugar

Or start drinking vodka lime and soda? tastes 43908593485 times better and you can actually taste the vodka in it?

All that premixed lemon vodka shit leaves a taste like weird cordial in your mouth... Shitty as... Buy a decent vodka, and go to Coles and grab a bottle of schwepps agrum, and make a normal drink. Primo stuff mate. I'm not a Vodka drinker anymore, but when I used to be, thats how we had it.

Its not just lemon or lime i'd say... Seems to be some sort of citrus mix.. Aswell as sugar and lemonade probably. Maybe get some of that 'tang' powder or gatorade powder citrus flavour..

You simply cannot make it. They don't mix one thing with another. They make there own of everything. You could probably mix and match to make it taste nearly the same..

Macass frozen fanta + normal fanta= tastes pretty similar

I'm not after 100% same. That would be too easy and Smirnoff wouldn't make any money. But something similiar would be nice.

Someone mentioned grey goose..... This would probably defeat the purpose of trying to get cheaper lol. a bottle of grey goose costs like $70?

I'll start buying different ingredients that you's have suggested. I've got a bottle of Smirnoff No. 55 Copper Pot stilled vodka.

I'll let ya's know how it goes. I'm kind of suprised no one has tried it :S I only drink double blacks because they are 7%.

Edit: I've got a lemon tree at home so plenty of lemons/limes.
Edit: I'm trying a new hobby, making cocktails/shooters.

I disagree. Fanta out of a bottle has tasted like bung ever since they took the artificial colours and flavours out of it. McShit Fanta tastes like the old stuff now.
