[SA] Speed Camera or ANPR?
Hey guys,
I was driving down Main South rd n Morphett, the strip with car dealers like Holden and Kia either side, and I saw two cops walking around what looked like a triton or something similar and in front it was what looked like a speed gun on a tripod with wires hooked up to a metal box. I wasn't too sure what it was i thought it could of been that Automatic Licence Plate Recognition system. They usually have cameras in Aurions around that area so that is why I wasn't sure what it was. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
Just to add i havent got a problem with speed cameras im just wondering what this thing is

Yes this is a speed camera.
They have started putting ones on pt wakefield road in the middle which can do both sides of the road at once.
Ah i see. I dont think this one would be both sides of the road though, there was an Aurion directly opposite with a camera in it.
Has anyone noticed that the camera on Brighton rd meets Majors has disappeared coz i swear there was one there

If SA members don't bother reading the pub, how is that anyones fault? And you all wonder why Minux says SA people are slow and backward. Other states manage just fine with the sub forums.
If you put [SA] in the subject title in the pub, or other sub sections you can see it relates to that state.
Well i think it would be better to go in an SA subforum because the topic is only for SA members and interstate member would not want to read this. Does anyone agree or do you think it should go into the pub?

theres a reason we implemented the use of the prefixes in thread titles, so you can specify that this thread is SA specific, therefor people who dont want to read it, wont click it. cruise sections are for cruise related threads only.

Sorry to double post but does anyone know if they use ANPR in SA and where is it being used?
