Usually SA and NT are joined. Gotta have all areas covered though Seems NT is forgotten about quite a lot.

Not many clubs to speak of so much. If you have an old school beast they do a cruise on the first Friday night of every month. As for myself, a heap of mates and I get together and go for a cruise most Friday nights. Have a squiz at my profile and you will see the site / forum I am working with for the local area.

Im in the NT but not in darwin no one goes crusing here although there are some nice cars for a small town in the middle of no where.

Thats why i live here. Whats the darwin car scene like? My cousin lives out humpty doo way, She did drive a black vu ss ute stock then traded that in for a sting red vx ss sedan stock, i think she has got rid of it now for someting newer?

Not too bad. Normally meet up at Truck City on a Friday night and go from there. Its really good during the dry season. Best night was with me and 10 other Utes plus 8 sedans. Not including everyone else that was out (4 bangers / rice etc).

I brought my car in darwin from a small car yard cant remember the name now about 5 years ago,Got it friday afternoon drove all weekend then droped it to the bardge monday, went out of palmerstion to the stewert an ran up an down the highway all weekend smashing any car that wanted to play, longest run was like 10km at about 180-200km with an xr6t sitting right on my arse lots of fun when it was open speed limit .

Oh yes. Me and some of the boys did a last "open limit" drive back in Dec 30 2006. Was great fun and yeah, quite a few times I have had fun on the long stretches.

Deff gonna have to catch up when I get back up here, aiming to be here around mid jan (as long as everything goes well that is LOL)

Also, do you know anyone who's doing tarmac motorsports up here? (hill climbs, drift, motorkahna's, rally's, ect) I've seen the signs for hidden valley down the road from work, but not sure who's doing what

Sounds good. There are drags (new track surface, lights and timing boards being done), circuit racing and track days are also open. Motorkahna is on as well. Best spot to start is MotorSports NT Inc. and you can see all the events and times etc.
