I purchased $1100 worth of pioneer audio gear the other week. All through online retailers. And about $700 in the states. It was rediculous how much JB Hifi and Autobarn wanted for the same kit. If i bought it in store, I would of had to fork out over 2 grand.
With the aussie dollar being so strong atm, prices should be reaching a parity with the USA on a number of goods. We dont have the same buying power the states do. So a couple of bucks here and there.. But the prices now are nearly double the american equivelant.. Not on...
And no doubt they use the same tactic the fuel companies use. When the price of the barrel drops. they keep the fuel price high, cause they "need to use up reserves bought at the old price". But the moment the price of the barrel goes up.. so do the fuel prices...
