Misleading thread title is misleading....... Nice rides man. Downsize the pictures though.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
Nice ride man, looks like a CBR1000?
I used to have this until last Janu when I sold it:
Currently in the process of looking for a new R1 to finally take her place, cause I've missed my riding.
here's my ride
89 Yamaha FZR1000
She's getting on in the years but engine has had a rebuild, ported head and it's still a fantastic bike to ride.

Don't have a pic and cbf getting one cos it's filthy, I ride a r6 limited edition.
me, always had some sort a bike
Used to be my girl untill I was cleaned up by a damn P Plater
no longer physically able to ride ever again as I got a head injury and my left arm doesnt work
#### I miss the feel of riding soo damn badly
That's what everyone at my work says (I work @ Peter Stevens Motorcycles). It's true though, i have my motorbike L's and my car p's, but my learner bike is a CBR250R 89' and with the megacycle pipe on it, It's louder than the 1000's.. Annoyingly loud all the guys i ride with say. But atleast i'll be heard if not seen.
my DRZ 400, sorry only pic i got, but you can sorta see it
and my postie and RGV
there the only registered bikes ive owned, had a shit load of dirt bike
Haha gotta love the RGV 2 strokes
Heres my L's bike: (the scratch was from previous owner on case)
My bikes:
^ Got stolenKX250F 06
Had these two at the same time, CRF450R 04 and CRF250R 08
And my recent RM250 which i just sold to get my first road bike..
I wish i never got the KX stolen, that was a mint bike -.-
Some nice bikes there, i got a cbr250. I get my full licence in April, looking forward to upgrading.
It can never be said enough about how unsafe riders are in terms of protection. We have no crumple zones, no airbags, no saftey straps to harness us when an accident occurs (not that we want to anyway when we crash :P). Unfortunatley in most cases it's always a cage driver that's the cause of the accident (in most cases). But we know the risks, we understand that everytime we ride, we have to constantly be vigilant for the stupid ####ing P plater wanting to drift around a corner, or the old lady who never looks properly, or the wanker in the porsche that thinks the world's his and move over anyone else.
I'm so sorry about your status Big Simmo man, I could never think of anything worse. I love my riding, be it road, dirt or track... I've done them all (mainly road and track, dirt is fun but it's not me).
I LOVE my bikes and riding. Greatest feeling there is. Ive had heaps of bikes over the years
Used to own this (was my pride and joy)
Til it ended up looking like this
Now this is my new baby
And for on the dirt

Atm have a kz 750 project bike(always working on it hardly ever riding it)Over the years have had heaps of dirt and road bikes .love riding but older I get more sketchy I have become.probably due to seeing a lot of mates getting cleaned up.
sorry mate but that utter crap. if you have a look at the stats and what the RTA and learner rider intructors tell newbies, its about 75% of motorcycle accidents are single vehicle, meaning no one else but the rider was involved, yes we are at more danger because we go un-seen, but it comes down to experience, attitude and riding to the condition, every weekend several bikers come un stuck in the royal national park, which is a favourite for bikers, ive seen a few come off just by coming into a corner too fast and no knowledge of whats ahead,
luckily i dont know many people that have had an accidnet on the road, but from the handful i know, all admit to be doing something they shouldnt have, either be speeding or tailgating cars, or just too fast around a corner in the wet.
i do as much dumb shit as the next person on my bike.. if not more, but im not going to blame car drivers if i come unstuck
Here is my old bike, nothing really special but I spent all my L's rebuilding it. The only thing that was ok originally was the frame and rear wheel. Sold now. But looking at purchasing an R1 later this year![]()
you sir are an idiot
i've almost been cleaned up by cagers soccer mums on the phone who did see i was there most cager don't even know that they've caused riders to take evasive action hence why the government say it's single rider error
and these pricks just drive away not wanting to take responsibility
alot of people almost have accidents.. so what??? clearly you have your head screwed on right and where able to avoid it. but thats your experience.
ive had to 'take avasive action' in my car as well, i just came across and idiot driver
ive also had to do it in my car due to a rider taking a corner to fast and crossing the centre line... he made a mistake and luckly we bioth could avoid it. but does that mean all riders do it?? no
i love riding but im not going to be closed minded about it and pretend we are all angels and better then people that drive cars.
just look at the facts. or speak to someone that work in the emergency department of a hospital
oh and calling someone an idiot for stating facts and opinion.. real big of ya mate
been riding for 25 years
I'd think carefully before you go calling other people idiots mate. Naf is 100% correct! Majority of motorcycle accidents are single vehicle accidents (and NOT because of your reasoning that the other vehicles just drive off :S ) Ive had close calls by idiot cagers as you have described as well, as most riders have. Does that mean if an accident occurred its purely the cagers fault? Nope! For example, If you crash coz a cage pulls out in front of you then yes they are legally in the wrong, but its still the riders fault for crashing coz you either A werent taking enough notice of your surroundings because you should be prepared for a car to come from anywhere, or B you were going to fast to avoid a car pulling out (this doesnt necessarily mean going over the speed limit, it means riding above what you should be for conditions/traffic). Never put the blame on everyone else all the time. If you crash your bike then fact is its a 99% certainty that YOU ####ed up.
