Wheelie bin pinched!

What is it with these ferals that infest this continent. Who the "f**k" would need to steal a wheelie bin? This morning about 3 hours after collection, I glanced out the window to see a tenant from the units next door walk past my gate and suddenly grab my bin and take off with it.
I run out the door after him but my arthritic knees couldn't keep up,& just saw him disappear into the end units. I did call the cops and they went to investigate but some woman answered the door & denied knowing anything. Naturally the prick wouldn't be answering the door when he seen the cops knowing what he just did!

Council should provide you with a new one, but a bit of a bastard getting it home if you don't have a trailer or ute. That sucks mate, where I used to live the young pricks down the road used to soda-bomb peoples mailboxes, and purposely start bush-fires for fun.

EDIT: On your new one, spray paint your house/unit number on it.

I thought about that when they next go out but can't positively identify it. Years ago when i was younger & had no dependents I probably would've jumped on the old farm tractor & driven right through his fence to reclaim it! Hmmm wishful thinking.
I know council will supply another one, just wondered why the other idiot didn't think of that? Anyway I know what he looks like and I will be watching him from now on.

Just ring the council and they will replace it.

Mine got pinched by the uni students that used to live behind me. They were having a massive party so the missus and I went out to dinner. Came back at 11pm and the bin is missing from the side of the house. Twenty minutes later i see a fire engine go past and realise it was torched. Went for a walk the next morning and saw the scorch marks on the road and bits of plastic in front of their house.

Council just dropped a new one on my driveway, didn't have to pick it up.

my complex used to play musical bins, but i got sick of maggot filthy bins so got stick on numbers from Bunnings, and spray painted parts so no one had any excuses...

that this drunk arse kept knocking wheelie bins over with his 4wd
so the guy filled it with concrete and when he hit it BANG you get the picture

didnt end very well the chick got injured in back seat and sued him never did hear if he beat the case
was something about willful endangerment? or what ever who cares the drink driver should have gotten the
loss of liscence from memory?? meh~!

used to have mine knocked off reguarally and returned full near bin day in a big group of flats i lived in, pissed me off,now its just my letterbox that gets stolen its happened 3 times so far and some one decided to put a fridge in the middle of my driveway one night (i live in the same street as a nightclub).

bahaha when i first read this i was like who the f seals a binn.. but it seems like a common occourence
still if i saw a guy running down my street with a weelie bin and some other guy chasing him id just lol.
they are not your bins they are the councils bins.

Over here we don't have the same issue with wheelie bins getting stolen. We have the issue of the little pricks walking up from the college and kicking in letter boxes.

That used to happen to me at my old house a lot, where I lived we put the bins out the back lane and as I was in the only house there and all the rest were shops different people put the bins out and different people took them in.

I got my wheelie bin taken countless times and ended up just taking a different one just about every time, half the time when mine was taken there wasnt any left out there either so Id have to wait a week or more to grab one or get one from the council. I got about 8 from the council in the 2 years I lived there. Im sure some of those shops must have had 4-5 wheelie bins inside.

LOL my letter box used to get stolen every time I put up a new one too, I lived in the main street of town and there was 5 pubs and 3 clubs just around the corner a bit. I think the longest I had it for was about 2 weeks. I ended up leaving it without one and used my bros PO box.
