    Default Google Earth

Does anybody have any idea how frequently Google Earth is updated? I have been looking at a number of locations recently and the newest map data available dates from 2006.

    Not often.

Use this one, it's aerial photo's instead of sat photo's, has a better res, is updates more often and you can look at older photo's too.

Well, that sure fixed the problem. Nearmaps for the area I was looking at dated from only October 2010 and as already said, the resolution is amazing. Leaves Google Earth for dead. Thanks guys, it's now on my favourites list.
