Bunch of abo's...or black people...you know the ones that centerlink buys metho for? Yeah well anyway...they kicked my overflowing bins over...I go to clean it up and I have them threaten me...they thought it was funny...I get my Missus to bring her car up and I locked up and they still yellin shit...call the cops...get nothing...
I actualy got told I'm not allowed to touch them or I will be charged with assault...what happened to this country...
If I was a hoon or a teenage vandal cops would be on me like white on rice...but a bunch of abo's threatening an entering somebodys property to do damage and they won't hear it...
Makes me feel so safe...
How am a supposed to sleep at night knowing at any moment my car could get smashed or I get broken into and get bashed...
And im the kinda guy that stands my ground no matter what...and here I am with no leg to stand on..

Basically people breaking into his neighbors house, he calls police, they dont come, calls police again, still on the way, tells police he is gonna go take care of them, goes out shoots both robbers dead. Police arrive shortly after, neighbors said he was defending their house and he got no sentence or conviction as far as i remember.

IIRC there was a home intruder in the US that successfully sued the home owner after he got shot
Unfortunately the police don't do much about any gangs, we have a large group of youths in our area that tag virtually anything, smash bus shelters, etc and all the police do is ask them to move on if they are congregating in a large group

i would probably say... to shout out really loud so the whole neighbourhood can hear u.... HE HAS A KNIFE... then shoot bash or stab em..... u will have 100 witnesses attest to the fact he had a knife...
when it comes to court and they say he didnt have a knife on him... u can say he threatened use of one on you... just because u cant see it doesnt mean it wasnt there if he says he is goin to use on you.

after telling them to leave three times its called tresspass then you can legally use reasonable and proportionate force but not excessive to the situation, to force them to leave ,that means if they start on you on your property and youve already asked them to leave 3 times you can beat the crap out of them and force them to leave and the law will protect you there is sections in the law that security guards/bouncers use to protect themselves from prosecution and they have the same powers an average citizen has its just most average people dont know the laws regarding this, i know the law regarding this was the biggest part of passing my security licence its all in the crimes act.

The law here in Oz is lax and its turning more and more police state (ie. reducing the rights/privacy of the average joe and revenue raising vs. police actually catching real criminals)

By their reckoning, someone threatening to punch me is threatening my life, thereby allowing me to use lethal force in retaliation?We have problems with the OP's gangs here too, frustratingly so, but what can you do? I guess ultimately you just have to bend over and take it. I keep hoping that someone will lose it and go mental and be rid of some, but each night on the news no one ever does lol. Then I lay awake at night wondering if I'll end up being the nutter on the news who goes to jail for the rest of his life. Such is life!

I was in Griffith (NSW) when that same thing happened in the Andrew Farrugia case. He was waiting at a taxi rank in the main street on new years eve (2006), king hit without any provocation by two aboriginal kids (they were both around the same age as him). They didn't know him, he hadn't even looked at them. They just wanted to pick a fight for no reason. Because of the king hit Andrew fell back and hit his head on the footpath and died as a result. He was from a little town north of Griffith called Rankin Springs and only 15yo the poor kid. The two aboriginals rightly went into custody (i didn't hear for how long, but because of who they are i doubt it would've been long). That's the sort of case where the Govt's "one punch can kill" line comes from. There have been many other cases of this happening, and usually (but not always) they involve grog.
