This was taken this afternoon. The water was almost up to the bottom of the doors on my Commodore . Oh forgot to mention ,this isnt in Queensland or NSW its in down town Dandenong in Victorias south east .When the council finished the roadworks on Gladstone road they realised that they forgot to put any drains in so the only escape for the water is down the side streets.
Friends of mine just posted up a photo of their street in Hampton Park, and it looks much the same as that one. Not good! And it looks like a lot more rain coming. I hope it eases for you guys and it doesn't get any worse!

Tomorrow doesn't look good either.
God must love stupid people, He made so many.
Whilst I am on my first 2 days off from work for about a month I was genuinely saddened that not only part of the roof had collapsed but our 'dungeon' area was basically a swimming pool now (just after a $$$ floating floor, stage and lighting had been installed and it had been freshly painted)
Hope other members on here have escaped with less damage (it could always be worse, just look at the Queensland flood's, etc)
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
My friends in Redcilffs (Victoria) showed me pics of floods there too, 110mm+ rain in a few hours.
Just looked at the radar, still coming down hard down there!

My street last night. Got up about another 50mm as it got darker. No damage or anything but I've **never** seen that happen before!
