Default Victorian Police Officer's speeding fine and conviction quashed

    This news article is interesting:

8-year speed fine battle reaches end of the road - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

54 in a 50 zone, how irresponsible! I'm surprised that the police officer wasn't charged with murder. Because thanks to ceaseless government propaganda everyone old enough to blink knows that speed kills. Pity for the government's coffers it was an 80 zone. Ha ha you stupid f--ks!

Speed DOES NOT kill, idiots do.

    WTF???

The judge ruled the avenue where Bergman was caught speeding was in fact an 80kph zone.

He said an 80kph speed limit sign posted on a joining road still applied because that road did not end at a T-junction.
There is no road that joins Kingsclere Ave that's both an 80km/hr zone and NOT a T-junction. That judge is on drugs!

Or the reporter didn't get the facts straight! Probably more plausible.

As much as it would make you feel good to win this case, spending $3000 on a few hundred dollar fine probably doesn't make it justifiable.

On an unrelated topic, his fine for dangerous driving of doing 54km/h in an 80km/h area will arrive tomorrow. LOL.

hahaha this was on today tonight, and the following story was *drum roll* about a mum and son caught "street racing" out the front of a childcare centre in geelong! (i think).

mum reckoned she hadn't had a speeding ticket in 10+yrs, model citizen on the road apparently. but the cops say they were doing 100+ in a 60 zone.. dunno who to believe there

Off topic but here. Mother, son hoons off the road | Courier Mail

Tosser admitted to do about 100km/h, but I bet he shaved a bit off for good luck.

And heres a photo of the idiot sons car, http://www.goldcoast.com.au/images/g.../21/489385.jpg , because it looks so awesome with the tinsel.

Also the son has been disqualified twice previously, at the friggin age of 20, judge should be bitch slapped for being a pussy and yound idiot should be in jail for be a moron. Also look what the gherkin-strummer wore to court!
