Had this happen about 12 years ago at Singleton, lucky for me snakey was well and truly dead. Amazing the constant thump these suckers make at 100 km/h.

dad had this happen on his Zuk when he did a trip round Aus, snake decided the wheel arch was a nice place to make home.

i've heard off a few blokes from the bush that if a snake gets caught up under your car, and is still alive when u pull up. it will literally be as mad as a cut snake! wanting to bite everyone it sees. just like the one in the story

so if anyone thinks this has happened to them (i know im stating the obvious here) use EXTREME caution if u decide to hop out

yea its true, they get reall agro or something .

lol i had a snake rear up at a truck whilest i was in it, it hit the tyre and went BANG! was quite funny
