what a killer picture!
ENGULFED in flames and smoke, this Holden still knew how to roar.
Photographer Adam Reynolds noticed a pair of Holden Commodores alight behind his house in western Sydney on Friday and grabbed his camera.
At first glance, it simply appears to be a car ablaze. But take a closer look and, thanks to the position of the rear-view mirror and windscreen, the flames take on an amazing resemblance to the Holden Racing Team's lion logo.
"It's like the spirit of the Holden is leaving the car as it's being torched," Mr Reynolds said yesterday. "I took the photos on the Friday night but it wasn't until Sunday when I was looking through them that I noticed the lion."
The Holden Racing Team's car is emblazoned with a lion head.

Exactly - if it is a real fire I'd like to know how the lights are on...you'd think that by the time the car was completely engulfed in flames like that, that the electrical system would basically be completely screwed.

Unless you got a massive dry powder extinguisher than its usually best to let them burn out. If the fuel tank is ruptured the water will spread the fuel fire as the fuel will float on the water.
Besides what would you put it out with, your backyard hose? The fires that size, just stand back and enjoy the show, let the fire brigade do thier job. Unless of course it a serious threat to a house or something.

the image may or may not have been edited, its not that hard to recreate something like i hisusing the liguify tool in photoshop.

it may look shopped but i can asure you it aint.. i know cause i took the photo. the original photo was scanned by fairfax media and passed with flying colours. these people dont publish or sell photos that are dodgy. Newspix - Search Results and fire and hl0911 . this one shot was in a set of 30+ that was taken. If you knew me y'd know it aint photoshopped, basic IT is all i know.
