    Default Adjusting Muffler. Thoughts?

DYNOMAX VT DRONE-FREE PERFORMANCE MUFFLER (eBay item 390295991319 end time 16-Mar-11 22:55:47 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

Looks interesting. Thoughts? It's patented so obviously nothing like it around, fair skeptical though.

Not sure I like this idea.

The weight of the flap valve itself would change the gas flow required to push it open, depending on which way up the muffler was mounted. It would also remove any off throttle sounds - cackle and grumble on back off, which I rather like.

I think you would get a decent sound at WOT, and not at part throttle or throttle closed.

I think the whole idea of a spring loaded flap to chokoe of your exhaust at everything except WOT is a bit of a bad idea.

Yeah really good point tsunamix. I have seen those xforce mufflers looks good, $350 though not the cheapest thing in the world. and I wonder what it would sound like on a v6 with the regular performance muffler in the middle and this on the end. No xforce with dumpers either
