    Default Woke up to a fire...

    My neighbour was frantically bangin on my door and woke me up. She told me she saw some smoke coming off our neighbour's garage. In 2 mins, the garage went up in flames. Called the fire dept and they were here to put out the blaze
    No one was hurt, just the roof of the neighbour's garage caved in. then i overheard this ...
    "Honestly officer! I forgot to turn off the gas after frying..."

    meh, she was trying out a new gas cooker and old age probaly made her forgot her cooking. the cops came over this morning to assess the damage, i think the landlord is pressing charges.

    We had a place in our street burn down last year, official story was that the guy and his son were installing roof insulation. While smoking. At midnight. Dropped cigarette, insulation caught. The fire smelled sickly sweet, dunno what that might mean...
