when i got my p's had 9.5.1 comp, heads, mild cam, shift kit and a spool, in a vn v6 - standard too mild 5L's werent much of an issue, to behonest magna v6's used too come closer

But seriously, both 20 year old cars and most likely both slow..... also "stage 2 cam" doesnt give us much info... usually anything that has a "stage" is a bitch's cam and nothing serious.

in late 90's models there was bugger all difference in the power offered by the 6 or the 8... so you would assume that if both cars were in equal condition that improving the 6 would give it the edge.
In the VN though, the v6 only had 125kw and the v8 had 165Kw. That's a lot of power to catch up on with not much mods.. assuming both cars are in equally old and tired condition, the v8 will win.
Its a pointless argument.. any modern 2L rice burner will blow them both away lol they are 20 year old technology... kinda like arguing about which electric wheelchair corners best..
