All good now, guys. The RTA has decided to let the lady keep her plates.
what next, your regular plates (AAA-###) will be offensive to someone who has their own language of numbers and letters?
if people find something like that offensive, bad luck, get over it.
Whoever from the rta said "Yes it is Offensive", kick them out, they are just as bad.
but as usual the aussies of this country have to bow down to the minority
I tried to get BUGGER on my Hi-Lux years ago in the NT when toyota had those adds on but was told by the RTA it was offensive.
I know of someone with the last name 'buttkiss', pronounced 'bootkiss'. Swedish or german or some weird language that doesn't translate well to englishWasn't allowed to put her name on the back of her high school jersey because it was 'offensive'. I would be offended that my name is considered offensive by my school, and get ACA or TT onto it

I went to my first (of 3 currently) uni's with a Vietnamese girl who's name was quite literally 'Phuc Yu'
Imagine calling up the tax office, or the immigration department, they ask for her name and she's like Phuc Yu (#### You)

For those playing at home, the reason I am kikki is the way all of my nephew & nieces first pronounced my name when they were starting to talk, Aunty Kikki has just "stuck".
