    Default Dude can't park...

    So guys,

There's a guy that lives in my apartment block that cannot park his little Renault to save his life. I live in Petersham (Inner West Sydney, very hard to find a spot sometimes) and every time I see this guy's car he's parked like a douchebag. He's either a mile from the gutter, parked on an angle or taking up way more space than he needs.

Any ideas (besides damaging his car which I won't do) on how to get one up on him?

depending on where he is parked, park him in, or park so close that your number plate is 5mm away from his car and keep doing it until he either starts parking properly or says something thats when you can tell him to stop parking like an idiot

Awwww.. No damage? Really? How smart is he? Leave official looking infringements under his wipers? No using real organisations logos etc, of course, and a fine print disclaimer on "legal officiality" of said document on reverse..

if u could get hold of some go-jacks (the ones that go under the tyres, with castor wheels on them so u can manuvere them anywhere) u could put the offending renault in a spot thats difficult or impossible to get out of

Here's a site with a bunch of people that have something to say about bad parkers. Warning, these cranky motorists may use offensive language in their expression of others parking ability..

just a word of advice where i used to live in a cul de sac i had a guy that use to love parking me in so close it made it diffcult to get out. I got sick of it and decided my vk could make a good mess of his front bar on his au xr6 (was about 2002 so it was a fairly new car at the time) so i just backed into his car until i had enough room to get out. After that he learnt very quickly to leave enough room so i could get out

Will do mate, he went out before I could get the camera out, but he ALWAYS parks like a moron so it won't be too long.

I've thought about sticking some of my missus' L plates on his car or putting a flyer for a driving school under his wipers.

Here's one pic, not his worst attempt but still. It's a little deceiving on how far away he is from the curb. His back wheel is about 50cm from the curb, his front wheel is about 3cm. The gutter slopes down a bit so it's difficult to judge.

As this is the least crap parking job I've seen him do (although notice how close he is to the corner), maybe he's getting better?

Lol people on the PLAP club site seriously take it too far, like yeah maybe if it inconveniences you, but not if you just see a noob who can't park, unless it's really stupid like the guy in this thread, he's way too close to that corner

im not 100% sure, but where hs has parked wouldnt it be illegal?
im sure when i was looking through road rules (going for L's and P's) that you have to be a certain distance back.
maybe seeing his car on a towtruck may change his parking skills =P

Can't remember the actual distance (was a few years ago when I got my licence) but pretty sure he's too close.

Lol, nah judging by his ability to park a car he'd have no chance of cracking my passcode.

I'm pretty sure that here in NZ the distance from the corner has to be 5 meters
