Following the lead of "Famous People", what are the best cars you've ever been in?

    These are the best cars I've been in;

1989 Chevrolet Corvette with a Targa Roof

    1960 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud

    1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville

2001 Holden UTEster concept, seriously guys, I have.

2003 Holden VY Panel Van Concept.

    2002 Holden Jack8 Concept.

2003 Holden VY Ute SS Series II (Purple in and out).

1999 VT Commodore SS (was about to be turned into a V8 Supercar&#33.

    1983 VH Commodore SL/E 4.2L (mint condition).

    1992 Lexus SC400.

    1994 Nissan Silvia S14.

1990 Nissan Skyline GXE (the model with the VL engine in it. Unfortunately, Turbo-only).

If I think of any more, I'll edit this.

    Interesting thread

R33 GTS-T with 220rwkws and all the goods
R32 GT-R Factory Standard but not bad
Had a mates fathers Dodge Viper for a weekend on the GC (Got some funny looks and roundabouts were fun)
    Dodge Challenger Covertible 426 Hemi
Plymouth Cuda 440 Hemi (Genuine 10 sec street car)

Test driven some performance Commodores VX SS, VT XU6, Dads VT Calais SC and driven my uncles BA XR6T Ute but they're aren't really unique.

Nothing American ( luv the muscle cars though) or European (one day I'll have a Lotus..) Most interesting would be a modified 253 auto panelvan with an exhaust that finished halfway towards the diff, very loud and really quick from 60 to 110 km/h. Also a HZ GTS 308 manual, unfortunately the owner/seller was sitting in the back seat so cranking it up wasn't an option. Anyone driven a 240/260Z ?

    i've driven..

    -BMW M3 E46 and E36
    -Honda NSX
-Subaru WRX STi (new generation model)
    -Mitsu Evo VI
    -Honda S2000

the only one of those i could live with is the M3, well both of them. the rest are too extreme, but loads of fun of course. the STi and Evo are ridiculous to drive on the road.

hey jake i can't believe you scored a viper, that is totally crazy

Let's just say that my mates Dad is an unnamed Developer with a few American cars I think he owns around 10-15 Plymouth and Dodge Hemi's. I was checking out unique cars and most of the hemi versions fetch close to 100k in the latest valuations. When you have a run in a 426 Hemi it makes a 350 seem like a pussy cat, they sound awesome. The Viper is just the daily driver

    Cheers

    Theres no replacment, for displacment

But if you want an awesome sound, the Chev 454 in a jetboat owns you. Off the water manifold, out the back ON the waterline. Awesome.

most expensive car i have ever driven would have to be an SLK kompressor. good thing it wasnt mine so i strapped the shit out of it!

ive been in some sweet cars as dad used to own a 63 chev impala and alot of other people we know have chevs/vettes and such. does anyone remember a dark green 69 corvette stingray that was on the cover of street machine mag a few years back? it had QLD rego '900HP' and had a massive super charger hanging out of the bonnet? dads mate used to own that (till he passed away). been in it a few times. umm, in a DJR sierra (as explained in the celebritys post).

i miss my dads chev. i can post a pic if anyone is intertested. he sold it about 5 months ago. and last night he bought his new toy. a torana. its stock sa a rock at the moment, and in reasonable condition. its (i think) an LC. only 88,000 genuine miles! and its still straight! i think he wants to do it up, but im not sure yet. if not, ill buy it and see what i can do with it hehe.

never got to 4th gear yard wasnt big enuf)
also driven HSV club sport vn style have photos of car somwhere

my uncle owns a smash repair shop in <insert place name here> and he gets the local cop cars in his shop from time to time. so when an SS came in my cousin decided that it would be a good idea to smoke it up! he was a bit dissaopinted though... he didnt have anyone with a camera to take a pic!

Hey DJ Majah, I love Cadillacs, but I think the 71-78 models look ugly. The best Cadillacs are the '59s and the ones from the 80s.

Hey Gobbles, no offence, but what f@g would think a riced up Excel is awesome?

    Cheers.

Yep I know the story Jules If you ever import a car, pay the extra for a container, don't do the drive on drive off option.

actually for my car i probably wouldn't bother

i know someone whose dad has priceless, irreplaceable classic cars and has found them being thrashed on the wharf. without getting too political i was always a bit skeptical about the MUA for that reason.. they were a law unto themselves.
