Anyone good with mowers?

Wasnt sure where to post this, couldnt find a mower forum any where

I have a Victa 2 stroke mower. the missus left it down stairs and the dog chewed the handle on the rip cord. any way i think the pulley the cord is on has unraveled and i cant figure out how to tension the spring again. ive pulled it off and fiddled around but cant sort it out.

do i have to pull the pulley apart?
any ideas?

Just take it to a store.

you have to take the pull rope out then tension the spring by winding it up then put the rope back in.
