Hold on guys there was a charger in that movie? I only saw Jessica :P

Good movie, I think they went through about 12 cars in the making of the film

I would have to say one of my favourite cars is a 1967 GT 500 Shelby Mustang I just love the look of it. Along with LH/LX Toranna, and of course the mighty commodres

as far as a movie, DOH didnt really impress me, but it was worth going to see for the general and jessica alone.

im going to see transporter 2 in a few hours, i loved the first one and it had some nice car scenes, like the getaway at the start with a black BMW (5 or 7 series?)...

Ah, im so over Jessica Simpson... but I'm probably just saying this cos i'm a chick, I think they used a body double a lot as well, cos theres heaps of shots of her 'boobs' and you don't see her head.
Sean William Scott, and Johnny Knoxville are pretty sexy... BUT THE CHARGER, that thing was awesome.
My favourite car, (even more so that commies and toranas) would definately have to be a val charger, and a dodge charger is just as goodg
Going through 12 of them..... thats a dam shame to put that many chargers to waste :my:

i drove home a lil crazy after seeing that lol
So did my BF in his Torana... (I was like, no love it's only a 202 )

well that was dissapointing. transporter 2 was WAY too far fetched, making it basically too unbelievable to be enjoyable. well, i cant say i didnt enjoy it at all, i enjoyed parts of it, but i can think of much better ways to spend 2 hours and $11.50. oh and the villain's girlfriend; she is just yuck

Sorry but the movie wasn't too far up to scrtch for me!

I give the movie about a 6-7/10 Simple cause the movie wasn't really like the dukes would be. Luke and Bo never were into drugs, Boss Hogg was Fat same with Uncle Jessie! and I was almost about to turn the damn thing off when the GENERALS DOORS OPENED!!!

I thought it was a great modern version of the Duke's of Hazzard, it only got one star and a half a star on the movie show! but really it's more like 4.5 for car people: ). Stifler is the funniest guy on the planet!, how about that roundabout scene, I so need a Limited slip diff

So nobody else has noticed that the General was an auto. I'm disapointed in you all

I saw a preview for it that showed the generals doors could open and it was an auto. So i went in with low expectations. Came out loving it...

They sorted the doors out, but its still an auto. They didn't even try to hide the fact in the movie. Its clearly visibal on numerous occasions. However, there is something about an orange charger floating through the air, you just gotta love it.
    Now for a prayer...

To our god, who art made in Adelaide. Holden be thy name. Thy legends come, and championships won, on circuits as it is on Mount Panorama. Give us this day our daily grunt, and forgive us our burnouts, as we forgive those who choose to drive fords. Lead us into temptation, and deliver us a V8. For thine is the spirit, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever.
    HOLDEN!

    Awesome movie, i love it.

The 1 bit that cracked me up was...

"put another shrimp on the barbie"

it was actually more than 12 chargers wasted, something like 15. They used 27 '69 Chargers in the movie, and wrote off 15 *cries* 2 of the Chargers were sold to the production crew for $1USD EACH, on the condition that they would be sold back to the guy for $1.25USD after they were finished with. Too bad for him, they ripped one apart in a jump gone wrong, lol. They sold him the other one back, and he uses his General Lee with production crew's signatures in the boot as his daily driver now What a lucky sod, driving a General Lee....
