    Default Wanted: Summer job

I've nearly finished my exams and am keen to get a summer job. Is there any possibility of going into something to do with cars, car repairs, car detailing, car washing etc? Or does my age prevent me?

If I can get a job like that, how much should I expect to earn, say weekly (or monthly)? Very generally speaking, I like cars and anything to do with them.

If that doesn't work out, what are some well-paid summer jobs?

    Edit: I'm 18

well, its winter here in OZ.

no idea how old you are.

car trades pay bollucks all, especially for unqualified people

if you love cars, get a job in I.T.

As you are in Saudi Arabia it's not really something we can answer here in Australia as most of us would not know the employment rules or wage rates over there.

Flights are not covered as part of Reaper's employment package...

OP you will have to cover your own transport costs.

Considering that return flights on average are $2,000 - that's going to be $2k per week, 8 weeks summer break = $16,000 in travel costs over your summer break.

Reap will pay you $10 per week = $80 over the summer = AUD net loss of $15,920

However, considering the exchange rate, that leaves you with $62,385 UAE dirhams...

= Net profit of $46,465 UAE dirhams...for spending 560 hours on a plane and washing Reap's Senator.

If your lucky, Reap might even buy you a cheesburger.

He does get the privilege of touching my Senator. Because I am such a good bloke, I might even consider letting him vac the inside too

Not a getting a summer job in Saudi. I'm considering spending the holidays in the US or Ireland, earn a bit of money while I'm there. Just thought I might get an idea from yee guys as to what's available in Australia and what the average pay is.
