    Better than a shitty tin 2 car garage and not have ur neighbours complain about noise and paint fumes!

    That'd be farkin awesome as a place of work, for a small mechanic business. Throw a hoist or two downstairs, chill out on you lunch break/in between jobs...

    Or 'out the back' for those long days at home when the missus is in a bad mood.

    I like it. Pretty sure my wife wouldn't mind it. After all when she first moved in with me, my bike was being rebuilt in the lounge room where my bed and tv also resided. I'd look at alternative lighting though.. Some skylights maybe. It looks like lighting the place up would take your own power station, not to mention heating it.

    +1 for a hoist.

    instead of skylights what about a clear roof as such, takes a new meaning to sleeping under the stars.
    or even one that opens entirely
    in summer open the main door for cooling
