Actually Reaper I'm far from Jealous, I cant handle a car at high speeds because I get nervous and suffer from panic attacks as I was a passenger involved in a car accident that crashed due to high speeds killing a friend next to me. Im talking about a person I know who is actually a V8 super car instructor for those "average joes" who want a crack in a race car around Eastern Creek. He is extremely talented and is one of the best instructors they have.
We were only talking the other day about how bias the V8 super cars are and how he was actually overtaking "Junior" on the track with clients in the car yet he doesn't have the financial backing to race. A true realty TV show would be getting a short list of drivers that don't race professionally and letting them have a shoot out and then training that person to to a 3 hour portion of the race at Bathurst.
I can understand the gamble the Kelly brothers would be up for by letting a random take one of their cars but seriously, we have so much undiscovered talent in the industry is beyond a joke.
Umm Most of them are young kids Who need a break anyway. Dave sera is an 11 time national karting champ who untill now hasnt had the funding to make the move to cars. The guy is a freak and a real talent. Same with most of the others there. I think its finally good to see something like this. It will be interesting to see how they go though, I doubt they will get much testing in the supercar.
this is an endurance race you realise??? while i agree that getting someone from everyday life would be far more appealing to most of us you cant train for an endurance race overnight
look what happened on the first lap last year and you could understand their concern about letting someone without race experience drive their car... that and how much is a v8 worth?? cause im sure they actually want to see it do well rather than being spare parts after an hour or so

Im going to place my money on AMBER ANDERSON, she seems pretty switched on and it would be a good viewer boost for the sport.. She is smoking hot too!

Oh and for whats its worth, I just found this on youtube... It was taken 1 year ago and they are pretty much testing all the names mentioned in today's story.. Looks like they have had enough time to prep them for the endurance race...
