If you are cheap and want basic stuff. android has one called "Car Dashboard" which has gps based speedo, max speed, current elevation and location. theres a pro version of it also but that costs monies.

i made the mistake of thinking my vx v6 was ODB2 so i bought the wireless equivalent and of course it doesn't work .. soon to be on sale

it's only the V8's from 1998 and VE onwards commodore that are OBD2 compliant

all V6's are ALDL or ODB1+ holden own diagnostic link interface = tech 2

while the vy has a obd2 plug it runs different software and the app i know off doesnt work with my v6 vy but it works on the v8s as they do run obd2

don't make the mistake i made holden didn't go OBD2 on the V6 until the alloytec

what you have is ALDL (Assembly Line Diagnostic Link) or OBD1
