Thought I'd start a new topic.

We have all atleast received one threat from someone in our days on the internet, It can be JC or anywhere.

Post up your threat that you received here, Do not post usernames.

I had a user threatened to come around and sort me out because of comments I made which I have first hand information to be true.

I've also had the same threats from another user, can't remember what I said though. Being a mod has it's perks

Had so many I lost count. Used to run a channel on IRC back in the day and was always being threatened by people I warned or banned.

There was this guy in Canada, Blackhawk was his user name. He used to DDOS us off night after night back in the days of the 28K dial up modem. We traced him and sat up till 9am Canadian time then rang his ISP. Bearing in mind this person used to message us often and was full of himself threatening to hunt us down and all sorts of stuff on top of the DDOS attacks. When we explained to his ISP what he had been doing, and that he was disrupting our service and threw a few regulations and bylaws at this poor support person who was stunned that Australia was ringing, he promised to look into it and call back. That he did an hour later. He had "blackhawk" on the line (conference call) with his dad (bahahahahahahaha) and he was crying (turns out he was 15) and saying sorry while his dad begged forgiveness. The ISP was threatening to terminate his account. Never saw Blackhawk again in the channel.

i had a guy threaten to bash and kill me because i posted on a girls facebook status "ill pick you up soon"
when i went there to pick her up he was there waiting for me, i got out of the car and laughed my arse off at a 13 year old kid no higher than my chest riding a scooter with a pierced lip and a sideways hat on got her in the car and we left.

the girl was my 14 yo sister who i had to pick up from her friends house as it was time for dinner.

I am an admin at another forum...anyway a while back we banned a member for being a pain in the ass, he sent me emails telling me he was going to kill me. Keep in mind that he:

a) Was in the USA

b) Was maybe.....12?

Lol, countless times on Xbox live i have been abused, had heaps of hate mail ect, my favourite is when they send you a message raging saying your a cheater and then they say 'i hope you have a credit card on that account cause im going to hack you!!!!!!!'. Its almost a guarantee of 1 hate message everytime you play!

I know of the opposite some one starting shit on a forum, some one gets their back up then is given an open invitation to his place gets there to sort him out and promptly gets put down.
