im highly considering buying a cheap 4wd. i like the idea of climbing stuff and playing in the mud.

I know that I will be paying about an extra $800 @ tax time. Maybe I should start a "What can't you buy" thread.

But, If I did have a spare $4500, I would buy new wheels, a new catback and use what's left on replacing as much suspension on my car as possible with HD stuff.

yea, i went 4wd'ing for the first time on teh weekend (first time driving that is) and loved it! theres a 60series wagon 4L turbodiesel locally for 3g, august rego, but it would be awesome for a mudtoy! already has 35s on it and a 2inch lift.

I've checked mine on the eTax thingy and allegly i'll get nearly $7,000 back.... not expecting sweet FA.. but if i did then i'd get a full on detail on the car (all swirls removed, all light scratches taken out, bonnet repsrayed, wheels refurbed etc..) hiflo cats, ceramic headers and a tune :-D

that's in an ideal world... real world.... $7,000 goes towards IVF for a kid! ...

hmm what would i do with the money from tax. (not much this year though)
few options here. either:

a. put into savings for a nice v8 (just before the p's are off eg. 454 camaro) and savings for a house
b. buy tools. use tools to make money. rinse and repeat
