Hi, i am wondering if a 2010 my 10 sv6 manual ute for $26,000 with 42,000 kilometers is a good buy?
i think it is but the only thing i am worried about i the 42k klms done is a year
your thoughts?
dont worry about the k's, inspect the car for evidence of a collision.... my shop bought a 2010 sv6 wagon for a company car from fowels auctions with no damage. it lasted 3 weeks before electrical problems started, then they put it on the car lift found the front rail was still bent from a serious collision and the fuse box was tied together with weld wire.... wasnt even road worthy or would pass VIV inspection. they managed to get them to take the car back.... dont ever buy a big ticket item without a personal inspection...
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
i forgot to mention its through a dealer and they assure me it has nothing wrong with it and hasnt been in a crash, but it just doesnt seem right being so cheap
well if you don't feel comfortable with it go out and check it out for your self take a mate who has some mechanical experience if you want some extra feed back on the car, you can never expect to get what you pay for over the internet or phone.
because the dealer assures you, it doesn't mean shiiiiit, make sure you check everything you possibly can...then convince them to let you take it to your mechanic to do the once over. however yeah, doesn't sound like too bad of a buy!
Yo.
yeah i took all he said with a grain of salt, they will say anything to get a sale
im pretty sure you can get a check done by NRMA, cant you? i know it will cost a few hundred but its worth the piece of mind isnt it?
thankyou all
when i do go look at it and test drive it what things shoud i look out for?
Yeah that's obvious anything else?
