Does anyone have any good ideas for a job where you can listen to music while you work?
Cheers
well i work with my old man small Transmission Shop and we alternate 92.9 in the mornings, and 6IX in the arvos, cant complain
trades, being a bricky listening to classic rock was awesome.
and working at the poultry place, it was hanging choocks whilst listening to Bay FM, was shit, all of there music was just sooooo annoying, and there DJ deseves to be stabbed, not funny.
Right now in my office all I can hear in the background is an out of tune busker who is banging on some sort of bongos while someone else is on the guitar. I have to put up with this every Thursday as they busk outside the bank (differant mob each week.) It's awful.
Rest of the time I have cd's cranking.
That's it, I am going out there to tell them to STFU. I am over it today.
most tradies do. when i was a roof tiler we always had some sort of music going, would bring in the lastest hardcore/metal CD's to listen to at work.
everyone loved us
normally it was angry neighbours, we didnt care though.
sometimes they liked it haha

Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.
Some people take me the wrong way, Like smacking up Marijunna.
Pfft forget music, become a security guard, get paid $250 a night to sit in your car and play xbox/playstation or watch movies.
i clean rental cars all day and i have 92.7 (fresh fm) on all day as it has most of the music i enjoy
Delivery driver listen to what you like all day(or listen to talkback and yell at the ####wits who ring up)
work as crowd control at concerts?
Let freedom ring with a shotgun blast
What ever I decide to put on the sound board really. Mostly try to play what customers like though. When the boss is here he plays non stop country music though drives me bonkers.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
It's a simple fact, a tradey will not work if there is no music lol I'm a mechanic and if there is no music I can't work !
Work at Burson. Radio is on Triple M all day. If i hear anymore Foo Fighters im going to murder someone.
you could always listen to music all day on the dole =P
working with a radio on as a sparky definately makes the day go by faster, and makes it so much more enjoyable.
especially after listening to loud machines running all day for weeks straight going, bang, clang and thump.
Definetly building sites. We've always got tripple j on unless they are playing too much wack shit. Beats listening to the same 10 songs over and over and over and over on all the other stations
How about a Record Company Representative/Executive? Listen to sample tracks and demo tapes all day long. Or how about a recording studio "Sound Engineer"?
im a Litho printer in a big factory i have the radio blaring most days.
We're allowed iPods/mp3's etc at work, but because we use walky talkies, we can only have headphones in 1 ear & they have to be low enough so we ca hear our walkies, but I usually just listen to music off my iPhone's speakers while doing stationary work etc

Can't stand having music on whilst I work. Find it very distracting.
Reaper
Meh, I prefer to work on $100,000+ engines and earthmoving machines.
That's pretty rewarding.
Not bad on the hip pocket either..![]()
