Tips for replacing a 5L engine and gearbox

This weekend I am going to attempt an engine and gearbox replacement on my VS statesman.
All and any tips, or walkthroughs would be thoroughly appreciated.

Make sure you have mate to help you. When dropping it back in I had an issue with the Drivers side extractors as they were getting in the way when they were bolted up to the block.

I just undid the bolts and removed it then massaged its in past the steering rack.

Take off the alternator too, I found mine was fouling on the front end when removing it and putting it back in. But in saying that I was on m,y own and the engine had a mind of its own.

P.S remove the drive shaft...lol
