Hey Guys,
Just checked my account and I have been underpaid (479.00 instead of my normal $512.00) I' am Permanent Full Time, however I did have to take half a day off today to attend a Hearing. I have a feeling he may of deducted the time I have taken off from today from my wage. Is he allowed to do this?
Cheers

If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
There would be some conditions under which your pay can be docked. What was the hearing in relation to - was it work-related or a private matter, and how much annual leave do you have accrued? If it was for a private matter and you don't have any leave owing to you, then it could be feasible that the time off was unpaid leave, which would be legal.
Yes Was a private matter, I have only taken 2 days off in total (1 full day and 2 half days including today) since I have started, I have been there 4 months. The other half day was for the same Private Matter and I was still paid for it.

Do you have any leave? IE: Annual leave, sick leave etc?
Did you fill out a half day leave form? Chances are instead of doing the paperwork etc for you to take the half day off, they've just done it off the books and said off you go, and just not been paid for it.
Being Permanent Full Time, Yes I would have all those kinds of Leave.
If it was, it would be the first one in 4 months. It can't of gotten mixed up with other Employee's wages either because I know I'm the lowest paid employee there.Ask your boss tomorrow, it may be a simple mistake.

Ask the boss mate, that's the only way you're gonna sort this out.
Will do, just wanted to ask here first just Incase It was from me taking half the day off. But will ask him tomorrow.

I doubt the 2 are connected. If you got paid today, and your half day was today, it shouldnt show in todays pay, it would show in the next. Ask the boss, you are totally entitled to query anything about your pay.
