automatic gearbox questions

1. does it wreck your gearbox driving it like a manual e.g going through first second third then drive (4th) at the revs if you want?? i have been looking at my gears and just wondering if it would blow it up or cause any damage doing it
2. why do people put there car into neautral when driving then put it into drive and take off?? like randomly along a street? i was in a car when a mates cousin
done it and have been confused ever since.

Put it in neutral and rev it like BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM Then select D for maximum respect.

One main reason to use it is up a hill towing and hold a gear instead of the auto not making it's mind up.

Sometimes I manual shift TBH, but rarely.

But they're pretty stupid questions lol, think about it, would you break down if someone was controlling your brain?

As for the manual bit... Wtf?

hahaha i meant like changing gears whilst driving would it break it seems it doesnt have a clutch aha cmon im only 17

as for putting in neutral revving it then going into drive, sounds kinda lame, does it do anything???

Yeah, kill your auto. I suppose he's going for the "drop the clutch" act, except with a v6 it'll do nothing but make you look like a ######## and still not even make a wheel chirp.
