    Default Stickers on cars

1st up let me apologise if this kind of thread has been done before...I honestly dont have time to look.
Im considering putting a sticker on the back window low down. Its a devil decal, but honestly I cringe whenever I see frangipani stickers on cars lol.
Can a sticker ever look good ? I realise this is personal opinion, and before anyone else feels the need to hammer me today...yes I can make my own decisions
    just interested in others thoughts?

You will get flamed shortly! but i dont have a problem with stickers on cars, depending on what it is. An old 'mate' had 'once you get the FRAK you never go back' in massive pink letters covered his whole rear. Needless to say his a ####ing moron!

I've got a large (30cm x 30cm) DC sticker on the rear of my ute, looks tough. But be aware some stickers look absolutly shit if not placed right, or put on right, or if the sticker just look shit in the first place.

On YouTube there is a video called 'applying vinyl stickers' by artisticwt that shows a few methods (I can't link you because I'm on my iPad) but yeah it is what I follow. And remember a) stickers can be removed if you get bored of them and b) it is your car so other people don't have to like it... :P

I personally have a 'chillest' (spoof of the brand illest) written in script where my commodore should be on the back and I have a just commodores sticker for one side and a street wagons for the other, it is personal choice, I personally like them but I do change them often.

Edit: Prep is the key, bad prep = bad look

[a thread not involving being single, hooray!]

i have a norton sticker on my back window. norton made some sexy arse post-war motorcycles, the sticker was on the car when i bought it and i decided it can stay.

i also just fitted a new holley sticker to the front windscreen to cover up a nice big crack that i didnt want the boys at vic roads to see

I've got a silhouette of a wombat with 'racing' underneath on the back of my van. If I wasn't lazy I'd take a pic. Might do it later. My Stato has no stickers.

I really have to see that wombat sticker, sounds like my racing skill level.

Rego sticker and that's it. I absolutely hate any other sticker of any kind on cars, unless it's a business vehicle and the sticker advertises the business.

I'm not big into stickers for my own car, I have a small car club sticker on the corner of my back window, that's it.

If the sticker is something a little unique to you or maybe your car and not overly huge, then yeah they can look ok.
I just hate trend hopping stickers - like the Jetpilot, frangipani, family, unit etc.

But what you are suggesting sounds like it's something unique to you. Go for it if you like it

I like putting stickers on my car, not those UNIT stickers like every ute has, but if I have parts in my car, or have taken it to a place I liked, E.G. my radiator shop, I'll put their sticker on my car if they have one, just to rep them a bit, especially if they are a small business, as some places do discounts for having their sticker on your car. I HATE my family & frangipani stickers.

Sorry if this has been said, I didn't read the whole thread lol.
