Is it too much to ask for people to use correct spelling and grammar when asking for advice or opinions?
Not only will it make it easier for people to understand what the hell you're on about, but you won't get abused for typing like a 14 year old girl.
If you majorly struggle, perhaps use a word processor and then dump the output into the thread.
There is also a thing called spell checker. Seems there are few who can't use them.
Please, no slabs of text.... Use paragraphs and sentences.
There will always be a few mistakes, none of us are perfect and I admit i've posted things that could do with a proof-read, but some of the items left on posts are unreadable.

Not much to do with edumacation level. To do with spell check, grammar check and ability to read what you wrote.
In my 10 years of having had a PC I've never seen worse grammar or spelling than on this forum.
I have at times wondered if the mess they put here is intentional and they think it a joke. Or are they very poorly educated? I truly find that hard to believe in this day and age. There really is no excuse today for being and looking stupid.
Anybody that has a problem should ask for help or even go back to school at least on a part time basis to improve themselves.
Especially when they put two words in a row that contradict eachother, you not know how i what mean? Shit like that is uneducated.
I think the problem is that they forget they're using a pc and not a mobile phone. English for the pc, text for the phone. Don't mix 'em.

I was actually thinking about this today at work, and I have put it down to the technological advances in communication somehow causing us (or some) to go backwards when really we should be advancing....
I have a 20 year old twin brother and sister and I'll be fcuked if I can understand a text I get from them or a facebook chat message....

me thinks its all about ya ma
I've never been able to understand people who use "sms spk" on a computer - a basic PC keyboard has 105 keys, there's no need to use "sms spk". Even when I'm texting I tend to use proper english because typing in "txt tlk" actually requires more brain power than just using proper words.

As to using a word processor, if I am going to do a long post, I usually do it in wordpad and paste it in. Its just easier; you can see the whole post at once, which you can't do in this little box I am typing into at the moment.
Lol get over it the English language is stupid.
