Default New racing game to feature Aussie classics!!

I don't know if anyone is into video games but there's a game (simulation based) coming out on Xbox 360 called Forza Motorsport 4.
If anyone hasn't played the earlier games check it out.

Anyway, this will be the first time our classic cars will be featuring in a game and the first announcement is.....the Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe!
Forza Garage Round 1: Whether you are a fan of post-apocalyptic driving movies or historic Australian touring car racing, or just appreciate fine Australian musclecars, join us in welcoming an Australian car famous the world over: the 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT. Also welcome back some cousins of Holden’s cars, the 2005 Vauxhall Monaro VXR and 2006 Vauxhall Astra VXR.

If rumours are correct, we will be also getting the Ford XY GTHO, HK GTS Monaro, VL Walkinshaw and perhaps a Torana as well and there's rumour of Mount Panorama making it in too.
At the moment, Forza 3 features some V8 Supercars (Holden and Ford) and the Holden W427. As I said though, Forza 4 will now also include the classics as well.
The game comes out in October.

    Forza Motorsport 4

I for one am an avid racing game fan and I am absolutely stoked about this!

car games are so fun. now if only need for speed could add some aussie cars into their games.

so much fun playing Shift 2 up at Mt Panorama, helmet/cabin cam. so realistic.
how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that

i have to admit gran tourismo 5 was a fair bit of a let down (even though i hadnt played any previous ones).... no brake upgrades ruined it

if this game is as good as they say it is i may go against my hate of the 360 and get one lol

rFactor + V8 Factor Unleashed = win. Mt Panorama, Lakeside, all the other aussie touring car tracks can be gotten for it too. I got a collection of old muscle cars to race on them

I only just learnt its got the W427 in it!

I bought it, belted round the track in the G8, done some hot laps in the V8SC then gave up.

The biggest issue for me with this game is that my steering wheel that I have for my PC will not work in my xbox, stupid Microsoft

+1 to this... Aussie racing simulation has been around for YEARS thanks to rFactor.

"Simulation" and [insert any gaming console device here] should never be used in the same sentence as there are NO games that simulate driving as good as rFactor. By today's standards, the graphics in rFactor are crap but the gameplay, physics and simulation of driving are second to none. It can only be played with a decent wheel setup. Personally, I choose the G27.

I dunno if I'd go so far as to say nothing simulates as well as rFactor, since I haven't played most of the alternatives. But I definitely agree it's brilliant as a sim, albeit only with particular mods. The builtin cars are a bit crap, but the V8 mods etc are much better. Some of the open wheeler series are pretty damn good too.

Incidentally, rFactor 2 is very nearly finished. Mate of mine got into the beta, and from what I've seen and heard, it's incredible.

Forza 4 also includes the Top Gear test track. It's going to be a good one.

@saladine1: I only just noticed your name and would like you to know I have been following all the cryptic hints you've been dropping at that other forum. Pity I got banned from there for accidentally posting a picture of an animated penis. :/

Forza 4 is going to be killer.
