I was with some frineds who brought some tourists over for dinner. The conversation drifted to 'country icons' and things which make people think of a particular country. So it seems Australia is (in random order) 1. Kangaroo 2. Ayers Rock 3. The Great BBQ 4. Australian rugby so on and so forth. No offence if it came out this way. We may have left out some other iconic people / places / ideas.
I know that this site gets thousands of hits per day. So what is your country's icons?
