Default cops in pakenham. random defect test (RDT)

well i lied. its not random.

about 5 cop cars are pulling in all cars that have P plates and testing them for RWC

absoulte bullshit why dont they pull anyone else over?

im sure there is hundreds of people who neglect spending money on their cars and drive around in something that wouldnt be roadyd in a million years.
and yet the continuoulsy pick up p platers to defect.

i had my car defected for a bald tyre about a month ago and got it all fixed to get a RWC and then a few days later i was pulled over on the high way from a cop that i had passed about 7 kms before hand as he had pulled over a truck driver. he would have had to have been doing 150+ to catch up to me, all he said was is it a 6 or an 8. i replied 6 then he went around my car checking roadworthy crap, and even pulled his jocky wheel out to see how low my car was.

sure some p platers will drive an unroad worthy car but seriously not everyone does. ive been defected 5 times in about 2 years. in 2 different cars.
    for petty shit like

battry needed to be clamed down tighter
    exhaust rubber broken
    head light out.

im over the treatment. i supose this is why they are hated so much.....

    theres my rage done.

Do up your battery clamp, buy a new headlight globe. Exhaust tuners are cheap as chips.

If you'd fixed these. No defect, simple.

All these things make your car un-roadworthy.

That is shit you should be fixing anyway. Ever had a full length exhuast hit your car after catching a road hole and tearing off? Cause I have. Headlights, duh. Battery also duh. Nothing like the smell of battery against the bonnet frying in acid and fuel while red hot, done that to.

We've all been being young and pulled over a lot (most of us that drove targeted cars, my 1600 honda got no attention). I still do get pulled over a lot, hate police but if they are being reasonable then whatever. I keep my car in absolute top shape. Debatable is how loud the exhaust is but eh.

I've heard of someone getting a defect for not having water in their washer bottle.

Seriously, it's a consequence of the times. You might be an angel on the road and drive a fully road worthy car but you have to suffer. Don't blame the cops for enforcing laws caused by the previous generation and their short comings.

I've been pulled over randomly twice. Once I was actually doing something wrong, sitting in the right lane for too long - second time was fiddling with my ipod at traffic lights and cops thought it was a phone. Searched the whole car (not sure why lol) then let me go...

Nah dude I'm with mattstatesman on this one ,Pakenham cops are dogs, I could go to dandenong and shoot someone and the police wouldn't even look my way , In pakenham driving a car with a P plate automatically means

    A, Your a hoon
b, Its un roadworthy and you must be running 10 punds of boost with 20 shots of NOS, Just because its slightly lowered

Yeah they can, you're fine you've got a new car. Most p platers have older cars and there's always something you can find no matter how honest you are and how good condition the car is in.

Yeh Mine is in RWC spec ,

Its just the whole Them driving 150 k and hour sirens blaring to catch up to (after you just turned a corner to go home after work )
Your tired from working long hours , just want to go home and have a shower and go to bed .

With them sitting there with there lights on , making a whole big scene out of it .
    You feeling embarrassed

While they ask you a million questions , scan your licence for 20 minutes , look over your car for 30 minutes .

Making you start and rev the engine , turn it off , turn it back on , turn the wheels , go forward then in reverse , check all the lights.

While 1 cops asking why the fan belt is a blue colour , asking if it gives more power or something.

Then they get all stroppy when you tell them the legal things they had no clue about .

Same was driving home one day , 2 car in front of me 1, a 1985 corolla held together with duct tape and the other a work ute like a rodeo or something with the tub overloaded with unsecured bricks and shit in it

Who do they pull over ? .... me
I ask why didn't you pull over the other cars in front of me and the cops response was " Because you drive a commodore , and that your a P plater "

its got more too do with the car your driving and your appearance than being a p plater. unless your driving like a tool
