The guy is an aspy, he would not of seen any humour in it. In fact I would be willing to guess this has all been massivley blown out of proportion. Aspy kids wont see the humour in this just the literal meanings.

Being diagnosed with a condition infers that there has been/should be treatment prescribed that would be better suited to places other than jail.
Unfortunately the crack loaded drivers get the sympathy lawyer who help keep them free. The ones who need assistance get jail.

Just like the stupid Senator here in Adelaide. Shop lifts, gets caught and is now claiming depression and a panic attack (her first one ever so she didn't know what was happening -yeah right) in the shop that made her leave and only pay for a few things. Of course because she is on a healthy salary she can afford a QC who I am quite sure will see her get away with this.
But yeah, be poor with aspergers and they throw the book at you.
Yeah Point taken about the illness, thats why i haven't made anymore posts. Still feel for the family's though, not very nice.

Agreed it's not nice but it's not like the guys at 100% mental capacity. Can you imagine what jail would do to some one with Aspergers?

Clair, not to defend a thief, but her medical records do show she has been suffering depression for the past 12 months. Does it excuse her behaviour? Nope. It does however grant a slant of leniency.

I see no problem with locking up trouble makers like this. If it gets tools like this off the internet making trouble and causing further grief to a devastated family then good. I admit I am probably more than a bit biased after seeing the most disgusting facebook page this week mocking stillborn babies and stealing babies photos off tribute pages and posting the most horrid things about them. People who do this sort of shit have no place in society. I don't really care what mental impairments people have and if prison would rehabilitate them or not. I would just like to see them locked up and prevented from causing further harm to others.

That girl made me 40 minutes late for dinner when the Frankston line was shut between Moorabbin and Mordialloc and I had to get a bus! Grrrr! Was a pretty funny story though. She went to throw herself in front of a train, changed her mind but tripped over getting out of the way and was hit by a train coming the other way...

I met a bloke with Aspergers who was one of my sisters friends...
Some of the things he said was so random and ballsy...
It made me laugh when my sister came out in a dress and said "do you like what im wearing, I'v lost 2KG" He goes, "No, you look farking fat in that bitch, and you look like you've put on about 10kg" with the straightest face ever and then turned to me and started talking again. Ha ha ha ha.... (Iv been wanting to say that to her for so long)
