And they were both CHICKS! Where were you guys and all yu nice cars? Thats right watching![]()
Thanks to MUT4NT, ParkwayDrv & Mrs and I forgot your friends name (he's on here eh?), Alex (EVAQ8) & Mick1988 for coming all the way to Bunbury. But most of all....
Congrats to the girls, W84NO1 (Debbie & passenger Not_an_abba_fan) and of course Tash driving Excaliburs VP SS with him as passenger.
Tash went out doing her very FIRST skid (she had done a stand still, never on a pad), after the first turn the belt flew off the power steering pump so she had to drive a tank out there, she still did any AWESOME job!
Tash recently lost her father so came up with the idea of the plates and stickers. Well done Tash & Jai, Rick would be heaps proud (although shaking his head lots haha) and I am SO very proud to have been watching my bestie out there giving it shit!
Not long after Tash, Debbie hit the pad and DEAR me, she did an awesome job!! Both you girls were so nervous for no reason, you both did us all proud!!
Here is a vid of Debbie's exhibition skid (of which I missed but the look on Tash's face whilst telling me all about it told me exactly just how you rocked the skid pad!) Well done Debbie & Bjorn! Debbie got top female skid and walked away with a nice plaque!
And here is a few pics of Tash & Jai's SS.

OMG what a bloody GREAT night!!! And considering Tash and i were soooooo ready to pack it all up and go home!! The nerves just got the better of us, but i am so glad we didn't give in.
i have been around the burnout scene for around 15-20yrs and this was my first time out on the actual pad, and i tell ya what....i blew myself away!! I am very happy and very proud of myself for doing so bloody well. And Tash, you rocked babe, you did so well and am very proud of ya!!!!!
Motorvation is my next aim, and i will be entering the Friday night burnout comp to try and win the prize (as the bigger boys won't wanna ruin their cars for a Friday night skid), and i will be entering the Saturday nights one just for a laugh, as i know iw on't stand a chance against majority of them, but will be laughing the whole time anyway
Thanks for all the compliments guys and gals.................I just can't stop watching that vid!!! hahahaha

Do you say well done for this stuff or?
I do have to ask, can I ask what is so enjoyable about burnouts? I have watched the vids and looked at the pics and I just cannot grasp where fun is? I can understand track driving, you push the brakes to the limits pushing for that later brake point, better entry and love all that but I just cant see where the fun in burnouts is?
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
- Theodor Seuss Geisel
Driving events don't interest me in the least, but with the burnouts it's all about being able to control the car, using the brakes, steering wheel and the motion, plus the tyres going 200+km/h whilst the actual car is only doing about 5km/h is a thrill for me also.
I have loved them ever since i was a kid, the smell of burning rubber, the sound of the rumble of the V8s rumbling.......at Narrogin Revheads it used to rock me to sleep........something about it that is intoxicating......plus knowing that i can do it is that biggest thing. The sound of the crowd at the end was what blew me away the most, the fact that other people thought i did an ok job is breathtaking...............such an unreal feeling. Plus with the burnouts ther eis ever only one car at a time on the pad (other than rare special ocassions for Demos), and you have the whole thing to yourself, with no fighting others or running the risk of being pushed out or into a wall or being bashed into. It's all on your own head and no one elses.
Does that make any sense to you? Not saying you have to like it, just asking if it makes sense![]()
