When I was a kid mum n dad used to play lotto. They would pick their number and let us kids pick our numbers. Us kids got a few numbers come up and won around $7000. But we didn't get the cash mum and dad spent it on a driveway, assholes lol that could have bought a lot of nintendo games and lollies! I brought it up with mum the other day and she has no recollection of it and insists that it was only a couple of hundred we won, but I know better

oh just remembered one, i won 2 tickets to stereosonic last year on a nando's facebook page promotion.....they asked, what would u do for tickets to stereosonic, and i just randomly said 'listen to justin bieber for 24 hours' just to be funny, and i won lmao! i didnt really wanna go either, so i thought id be smart and sell them, but they had my name on em and u had to show ID at the gate. so i took away someone who genuinely wanted to go's chance to go to stereosonic, epic win :P hahaha

All the people I know that have won big cash like that in tatts over their lifetime would have spent more than they won... plus considering the time value of money had they hung onto the cash in the first place and invested it the pv would have made it higher. Not saying thats occured with you just from what I've seen!

I won a BBQ through my dads work. I sold it to buy a bigger one. I've also won a few CDs/movie tickets through another website. I don't know if it counts, but i won 640 bucks on the Melbourne Cup last year (of which a mate and I drank about 200 of it).
