in a crAZY DILEMMA with $550

hey all

Flashback:

me and my other 2 housemates came to an idea as to kinda gift each other on their bday around $550. ,So whenever ones bday comes two pitchin $275 and buy something or give the money to the bday boy . the rule is you cant save them , you have to buy or spend them.
As this way we get to buy some goddies without sepending big coins...

So my Bday is next month and i am in a kinda dilmma how to spend them as i got two options..
1- Buy a 16gb Ipad2 $570
2- get a ss front conversion for my vyII exec (new bumper bar + foggies) round same price..

So i would like to get your opnion...

That logic is flawed. If he's not to get the iPad because it will be outdated, then why would he put a VY SS front on the car when that is outdated?

If people didn't buy stuff because it was going to be out of date we'd all still be driving T-Fords and using Nokia 3310's.

iPad makes sense because we will get a range of uses out of it. Interweb, watching movies, listening to mosic, etc. The SS front he will only get benefit when he's looking at his own car.

One new benefit VS many new benefits... seems like a no brainer to me.

Though he should ACUTALLY get a Samsung XOOM...

I vote SS front end, IPADS are a cool kit of tech but I think after a few months you'd get over it. Whereas having a beast of a looking car wouldn't get tiresome

My wife is apple and i've always been microsoft as i know i can fix most issues with microsoft. But in the years of her having apple products she has NEVER had a single problem, no viruses, no crashes, no performance issues nadda.

thats why we mates came up with this idea , as every one is squeezing their ass to save money for the future or bad days and never gets to treat themself.so this money can be spent in the way one wants, so we r gonna stick to this idea as long as we can ....

I like Apple and even so, I vote SS front. Or better yet, put the money towards something else you're saving for.
