Whether you like Apple products or not, it's undeniable that Steve Jobs was a huge influence to the industry from the very start, not just in recent years. It's an enormous loss to that world and his replacement in the company has MASSIVE shoes to fill.
who the #### is steve jobs???
Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.
Some people take me the wrong way, Like smacking up Marijunna.
i love all the posts everywhere at the moment attributing things to him that had nothing to do with him...
the adelaide rag has a poll atm what was his most influential invention :
The mouse (sorry Xerox invented that)
The personal computer (sorry again)
The apple computer (steve woz actually built the first apple computer... steves first apple computer was the Lisa).
and all this other crap.... its annoying when history gets to be written by idiotic pop culture... im not trying to be disrespectful towards the dead, but the guy was a marketing hype generator, he invited taking items that already exist and trying to present them in ways that seem new to idiots. He never actually invented anything, the only thing he innovated was marketing.
Thats where i'll salute the guy, and call the kid in the bar who goes omg thats the guy who invented the mp3 player a ****.
Must be slow day in news...Europe is going in to financial meltdown and this is what makes the top headline, some rich guy dies of cancer.
true, but not everyone in this thread was saying he invented things, he was a massive influence on technology through the 90's to today (well not to today obviosly)
and yes, his marketing did affect most 16 year olds that bitch at their parents to buy the apple products, so i say, he was a bloody smart fella!
Argh! Stop deleting my posts! This is the section for off topic stuff and nothing said is breaking any rules or anything. Jesus! Educate yourself!
