McDONALD’S is investigating claims a two-year-old girl was found chewing on a used condom she picked up in a playground at the fast food chain’s restaurant in Geraldton, Australia
A company spokeswoman said a complaint made by the girl’s father was being treated “very seriously”.
She said cleanliness and safety were the company’s top priorities, with the shift manager required to make half-hourly duty checks on all areas of the restaurant, including the dining room, rest rooms and playground, she said.
The toddler’s father said he was having lunch inside the restaurant when his daughter walked in with a used condom in her mouth.
The man said he washed the girl’s hands and mouth with soap and would continue to monitor her health.
He said when he had showed the condom to a junior manager at the McDonald’s outlet, he was informed it was the second one found in the playground that day.

Nothing would surprise me in Geraldton or that neck of the woods. Scum central in some areas!
That was a schoolgirl prank...wasn't a used rubber apparently
old news mate, as said above was a prank by some girls with icecream in a condom
Well i work for the council and would not let my kids(if i had them) or any another young kids for that matter near any of the local public playgrounds in the parks or restaurant. Some of the things that i have found in or around these places is just sick.Just a few weeks ago i had to pick up 5 used neddles(some full of blood) stuck sharp end up in the kids sand pit.
