Some #### hit it while it was PARKED !!!

Pretty bummed... but I spose it couldve been worse

Got insurance? That's a damn shame mate, i'm always paranoid about where i park. Anywhere near schools is the worst, soccer moms and their "big rigs" tend to give me the most concern.

I had a similar thing happen to me, i was parked at a mates place and someone hit the rear, drivers side, passengers door. big dent and no one saw what happened. I think that is the worst part, you can't blame anyone for it and can't get them to pay for it.

Insurance covered the door being repaired and repainted, lucky for me the paint on the car wasn't faded so the panel shop matched it perfectly. wouldnt know it was hit today.

I live across the road from a school and agree! Bloody rudeness of parents parking their cars up on the grass verge (Im not picky, its just that it's a new area and the grass is starting to "take", but one day of good rain plus "big rigs" driving over and parking on it twice a day 5 days a week turns it into a mudpit and it looks shyte when we have a rental inspection) and in or across my driveway. I have never done any of that in all the years Ive driven my kids to school, I dont get how they do it and just dont care. When I go out and front some of them they give me attitude over it. So they get it right back
None of them have hit my car though, the school mini bus driver dropping my son off (special school bus) sideswiped it twice in 4 days. This is why I always have insurance, have never needed it to pay for damage Ive done, always some other morons speeding around running up my clacker, or in this case, hitting my parked car.

Sucks that they did that OP. Hope youre able to get it fixed up.
