So are talking about ''pre drinks'' as in drinks at your mates place be for you go out.Or ''pre mixed drinks'' as in Jack daniels, canadian club and vodka cruiser and so on?
It'll be pre-drinks i.e cheap booze to get you drunk before you head out because alcohol is expensive
For me it used to be stars and stripes bourbonhaha the days of cheapness. Now usually Jack or bundy cans.
Beer is always a winner but I have a taste for whiskey for some reason, Jack Dagniels, Wild Turkey, Canadia Club and aged Glenfidditch although the last one is a rare one because its mighty expensive.

It starts off as pre drinks, then 3 games of king of beers later it's time to go out haha
Pre-drinks is whatever I am drinking that night. Am over the "getting blind and can't remember shit" stage. Yeah I do have the wobbles when I am done for the night worst case but easier to know what I have done and still have a great night out. Cheaper in the long run as like someone said earlier, I couldn't be stuffed paying $12+ for a pre-mix. I drink pre-mix at home and post-mix at the pub.
As for drinks of choice - CC & Dry, JD & Lemonade (Dont knock it till you try it), or the odd beer or three. Rumbos on the odd occasion too

Depends what it was - cheap grappa tastes terrible. Good grappa is smooth as, but trying to find a bottle for less than $120 here is pretty much impossible.
Again, depends what you bought. Alchohol content by volume of grappa can be as high as 50% - 60%.
Some of the best stuff I have had was homemade grappa with sultanas in it. Eating the sultanas alone was enough to get you pissed.
If you end up with a shithouse bottle of grappa, the best thing you can do is put it in your coffee.
