    Default Take the plunge!

Soooo, just got back from a couple of weeks in sunny queensland which was awesome, much needed too i might add!
One of the things i did up there was skydive, and it was the best thing i've ever done!
Those who have been will know what i'm talking about, those who are sitting on the fence, well, here are some pics to entice you a little!
Anyone else who has done it, share your pics!

Just out of the plane, bad cottonmouth at this stage!

I love these shots, the views were just the best.

Many thanks to dazza at skydive ramblers at coolum, my wife and i had a ball. The beach landing was something else.

Looks awesome man, but why on earth would someone wear a Hat while Skydiving? I would think he would of lost it during the dive lol.

Last pic shows he had it secured nicely with a chin strap, otherwise it wouldn't last long.

On the jump itself, we jumped at 14000 feet and was in freefall for about 45 seconds at 200 plus kays.

I found free fall (except the 1 HAHO I got do ) not as exciting as combat ready static line. 250/1000ft jumps are farkin scary, seeing the ground makes you not want to jump. That said, it is still fun!!!

    cool pics
I've done the tandem skydive 3 times now at Byron. Did the 14,000ft all 3 times
I've only got video of the first jump - no stills

awesome, I also highly recommend it, even to those scared of heights. There's just no feeling of height at 14,000. Although must admit it still does feel a bit freaky when the door rolls open and you fall out head first lol

We got to do a static line jump out of a C130J for a squadron birthday, it was pretty intense.

I done that for my 18th Best birthday present EVER, it was awesome. Shit scared of heights, shat myself the whole way up there but once in free fall it was wicked. Done mine down at Wollongong landing next to the beach! I only have a Vid no pics.

    Will definitely do it again.

Funniest thing the guy said to me, 'Don't stress if you hit the ground so will i'

my girlfriend asked her tandem jumper how many jumps he had done.
He answered "what before or after the accident ?'' :P
