Default Metal heads - Iced Earth doing 2 shows in Australia.

Iced Earth have finally decided to do a couple of shows down under.

April 4th in Melbourne and April 5th in Sydney. I've already got my tickets for the Sydney show. Two mates and I decided to get the VIP tickets where you get to meet the guys. Needless to say I'm pretty fuggin stoked!

Haven't seen them live but no doubt it will be a good show, shame they aren't coming to Brisbane.

I never thought I'd see the day they toured here, I thought I'd have to go to America or Europe to see them.

Again Brisbane misses out on an excellent band. Tempted to fly to Sydney for it though...

So it's been and gone... Did anyone go? My mate and I bought VIP passes in which we got a signed poster, stickers, shirt and also met the band.

I have to say they were bloody amazing!! Stu Block smashed it on vocals and I was blown away by Schaffers guitar ability. My only gripe would be that some of the mixing was a bit off in a few places but it wasn't enough to send me home disappointed. The venue was great and I'd guess at around 1000 people for Sydney.

Here is a pic of the band closing out the night.
