Hey fellas,
Ok well, This started maybe a week and a half ago. I being day shift have maintenance, technicians and engineers and stuff coming in and wanting to look at things during the day. This can sometimes take up a whole shift (maintenance) or sometimes a little less (or more).
Now last week i came into a few things broken and immediately needed fixing i basically ended up down for 2 of my shifts and 1 of arvo shift. There are now alot of people hearing (from the guy on night shift) that im a horrible operator and i dont do jack shit (basically). Now the mornings coming in lately, He is playing games, pulling plugs on computers, gas off forklifts, No notes to state where the machine is at, pulling wash up bars half way out. All basically just little things.
I have had words with my manager and she tells me she has spoken to him (several Times) about the situation. It is now becoming beyond a joke, the worker in question is part of the OHS and Site commitee, Now he went into his meeting yesterday with several managers. One of the others in the comitee has now come out and told me that he bad mouthed me and told all the managers im doing jack shit he is doing all the work and basically spreading a bad name for me around the office.
My manager that i have spoken to has no issues with the amount of work i am out putting, So there is no real issue its just now the fact that he is spreading it around. My work flow is no different to his when give or take depending on the day, type of job, length and so on.
Basically i dont want to play his games but im getting sick of the What looks to me as sabotage. He is purposely doing things to slow down my day and make me look bad and also bad mouthing me to higher people. I would just like some information on what i can do or threaten him with to make this stop befor it goes to far.

Fill out a CAR (Corrective action request). The company must take action by law.
Document every single thing you find regardless how insignificant with time, date and location etc and the time taken to rectify the issue. Take photos as well.
Email this report every day at the end of shift to your boss and keep a copy of all the sent emails.
If after a week it continues file a complaint to your HR dept for harrassment. If he denys anything or your boss denys you have made complaints you have all the evidence you need to back yourself up.
Dont communicate with this douchebag at all.

Lodge a bullying report. So many companies are shit scared of these now and they almost always take action. One multi-national I do work for will take more serious action over a bullying complaint than a sexual harrassment complaint lol. Sad but true.

Cheers mate! Well whatever his issue is he will not confront me about it, But as i said i don't want to get into the games. Its work im here to do my job and get out, dont need the bullshit in between.
