Default Hyundai Lantra - Window Winding Up or Down Issues

Hey Guys, thought i would ask as JC guys are extremely helpful.

Apart from having my Commodore, i ended up buying a Hyundai Lantra J2 1997 model, a while back due to my transmission issues.

Recently had some issues with windows.

The drivers side front window, could no longer be wound up or down without using your hands to also push it up or pull it down while using the window winder.

So, i went out and bought a manual window regulator, put it in yesterday in the rain (yay) and still the issue was there.

Apart from this, it appears since the window did not move properly, it ripped apart the teeth from the window winder also.

I noticed when replacing the regulator, the window was stuck up by itself with nothing or noone holding it.

So i believe, the issue is actually with the rails, that hold the window and window seals in on the sides, that the rubber is sticking/stuck to the glass.

Anyone know how i can easily fix this issue? Or even what these are called so i can replace it?

Not sure if i could just drop the window into the bottom of the door and rip out the rubber seal and replace this?

Or would i need to replace the 'rail' thats containing the rubber also?

This is primarily my girlfriends car now, and she needs it for work delivering stuff, so she needs her windows to all work fine (to meet the 'requirements' for the checks from work).

After forking out $80 on a brand new regulator, its greatly p****d me off its still not working.

what would be best to use? Runners? Are they the rubber seals that hold the window in?

The runners are the part that the windows runs up and down when you wind the windows

So what Armor-All would work best for this? Would it be best to drop the window and then clean the rubber runners? I don't want it sticking again so i'd rather do it right.

Silicon spray is the best thing for fixing this problem, had it with countless customers cars.
